In the period from 2016 to 2018, the Ukrainian Mediation Academy, together with the German Association of Lawyers in Ukraine (DAV-Ukraine) and the German association Mediator GmbH, with the support of the German Bar Academy (DAA – Deutsche AnwaltAkademie), implemented the Ukrainian-German pilot project "Lawyer-Mediator".
Within the framework of this project, German trainers who came to Ukraine conducted several training courses for mediators according to German training standards. Thanks to the project, more than 60 representatives of various legal professions - lawyers, judges, the prosecutor's office, the Ministry of Justice, and other lawyers - received the mediator qualification.
