AWARD OF THE UKRAINIAN ACADEMY OF MEDIATION

MEDIATION PARTNER

On July 7, 2024, the Ukrainian Academy of Mediation established the "MEDIATION PARTNER" award in honor of its tenth anniversary. This award is presented by the Ukrainian Academy of Mediation to organizations, institutions and other legal entities of any form of ownership that, without being associations or organizations of mediators, actively support, promote and use mediation in their field of activity to prevent or resolve conflicts.

We thank everyone who contributes to the development of mediation and invite you to nominate candidates, making your contribution to the development of mediation visible.

Informing about mediation

For active work that raises awareness of mediation among the public. In particular, for providing information about mediation, developing information materials, conducting trainings, seminars and other events.

Ensuring access to mediation

For organizing and ensuring access to mediation services. In particular, the establishment of mediation centers/services, the implementation of mediation programs, and the creation of a hotline.

Application mediations

For introducing mediation into the system of conflict prevention and resolution in the organization/institution. In particular, the inclusion of mediation clauses in their contracts, the inclusion of mediation in internal policies.

Development of the sphere of
mediation

For contribution to the development of mediation in Ukraine. In particular,
research, development of new approaches and tools, improvement of legal regulation of mediation.

What does the award look like?

The award will be confirmed by a document issued by the Ukrainian Academy of Mediation. In addition, you will receive a digital badge that you can place on your website for public display. This badge will serve as a visual proof of your commitment to mediation and your contribution to its development.

Nomination

Nominate your organization or any organization, institution or other legal entity that you consider worthy of recognition for its contribution to the development of mediation.
Nominations are made by filling out the form on this page.
The form includes the following:
● information about the person nominating (self-nomination is allowed)
● information about the person being nominated (nominee)
● a brief description of the nominee's contribution to the development of mediation
● any evidence to support the described contribution.

Verification

The Ukrainian Academy of Mediation shall verify the information provided in the form within 60 days from the date of receipt of the duly completed form.

Awarding of the award

In case of confirmation of the information provided in the form, the nominee is awarded the Ukrainian Mediation Academy's "MEDIATION PARTNER" award, which, together with the award logo, is sent to the nominee in electronic form.

Posting information about the award

Information about the awarding of the award to the nominee shall be published on the resources of the Ukrainian Academy of Mediation.
To notify the general public of the award, the nominee has the right to use the "MEDIATION PARTNER" logo on its information resources, letterhead, business correspondence, etc.
