All-Ukrainian Creative Competition “Mediation Through Creativity”

What does mediation sound like? What does it look like? What would mediation be like if it became a story, a drawing, a song, or a video?

To mark the 5th anniversary of the adoption of the Law of Ukraine “On Mediation”, the Ukrainian Academy of Mediation announces the All-Ukrainian Creative Competition “Mediation Through Creativity.”

We are looking for creative works that help communicate mediation in a simple, engaging, and accessible way. Dialogue and mutual understanding, mutual respect, the ability to listen to one another, and the opportunity to find solutions together — all of these can become themes for creative expression.

Mediation in a Creative Format

There are many ways to tell a story about mediation. Through a story or a drawing, music or video — choose the format that allows you to best express your own vision of mediation.

Creativity can sometimes communicate the value of dialogue and mutual understanding far more powerfully than formal definitions. And perhaps one of the competition entries will help someone discover mediation for the first time, understand it better, or decide to turn to a mediator.
