Can Mediation Effectively Develop Without State Support?

On September 22, a public discussion took place on the results of the study “Encouraging the Use of Mediation Between Conflict Parties by the State”, conducted by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine with the support of international partners.

During the event, Luiza Romanadze, President of the Ukrainian Academy of Mediation, shared international experience in the development of mediation. She highlighted not only successful practices but also the challenges that other countries have faced.

These insights are particularly valuable for Ukraine, as they make it possible to learn from global experience, avoid past mistakes, and shape a balanced national model of state support for mediation.

The organizers expressed their gratitude to partners, colleagues, and participants for their active engagement, constructive dialogue, and commitment to advancing mediation in Ukraine.
