Interagency Coordination Council on Alternative Dispute Resolution Holds Its First Meeting

On 1 December, the first meeting of the Interagency Coordination Council on the Development of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) took place. The establishment of the Council marks an important step towards developing a coordinated state policy on mediation, arbitration, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution in Ukraine.

During the meeting, participants focused on the implementation of the Rule of Law Roadmap, the need to harmonise national legislation with European standards, and strengthening coordination between public authorities, professional communities, and international partners in the field of mediation.

The Council’s further activities will be organised through dedicated working groups established for each form of alternative dispute resolution applied in Ukraine.
