International Children’s Day: A New Board Game on Children’s Rights
On November 20, the world marks International Children’s Day, commemorating the adoption of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child by the United Nations General Assembly in 1989. This date serves as a reminder that every adult can contribute to creating a safe and supportive environment for children’s development.
With this goal in mind, we partnered with the NGO “Article 3” to create a strong collaborative initiative, resulting in a unique board game about children’s rights — “Play. Know. Act.” The game is an interactive tool that helps children learn about their rights and how to protect them through play. It will also be useful for parents, teachers of law and civics, and everyone involved in legal education for children and young people.

The game was developed by the NGO “Article 3” and the Ukrainian Academy of Mediation with co-financing from the European Union within the framework of the CONSENT Project. The contents of the game are the sole responsibility of NGO “Article 3” and the Ukrainian Academy of Mediation and do not necessarily reflect the views of the European Union.
