Join the 10th International Forum “Mediation and Law”

The Ukrainian Academy of Mediation invites you to join the 10th International Forum “Mediation and Law” — a professional platform dedicated to practical tools for working with conflict, communication, and emotional stress in today’s challenging environment.

Today’s Ukrainian reality is filled with emotional ups and downs. When the nervous system remains under prolonged stress and anxiety, exhaustion becomes inevitable, and the body gradually adapts to a constant state of alertness.

This affects everyday life in many ways: sleep becomes disrupted, concentration decreases, communication becomes more difficult, and decision-making requires greater effort. In such circumstances, tools that help restore inner balance and strengthen effective interaction become especially important.

What Will We Discuss at the Forum?

The forum will focus on practical approaches to working with complex emotional states and conflicts.

Participants will explore:

  • practical mediation tools;
  • effective communication techniques;
  • approaches to managing emotional stress.

One such tool is reframing and paraphrasing — techniques that help change the perception of a situation and uncover new possibilities for addressing challenges.

Sometimes even a small shift in perspective can influence how a person feels. Imagine floating on your back in the sea, looking up at the sky while the water gently supports your body. Your breathing gradually slows, and a sense of calm and balance begins to emerge. This is how a change in perspective works — through new experiences and greater awareness of one’s internal state.

At the same time, it is important to recognize that not every circumstance can be changed. However, it is always possible to find sources of inner strength and support.

Join the Professional Dialogue

The Forum is an opportunity to gain practical knowledge, exchange experiences, and discover new approaches to working effectively in complex circumstances.

We invite professionals who work with people and conflicts to join the event and become part of a professional community that promotes a culture of dialogue, understanding, and support.
