Mediation and Communication: UKRNOIVI Completes Soft Skills Training

A four-week intensive training program has successfully concluded, aimed at developing effective communication, emotional competence, and constructive conflict resolution skills. Over 30 specialists from the Ukrainian National Office for Intellectual Property and Innovation (UKRNOIVI) took part in the program.

Throughout the training, participants:

  • explored the nature of conflicts and methods for their constructive resolution;
  • practiced emotional intelligence, active listening, and other key communication skills;
  • gained deeper insight into the mediation process, particularly in the intellectual property (IP) context;
  • analyzed how mediation tools can enhance daily professional activities;
  • studied communication dynamics between parties in IP-related cases.

We sincerely thank the UKRNOIVI team for their trust, commitment to professional growth, and active involvement in building a culture of peaceful dispute resolution in the field of intellectual property. Initiatives like this not only strengthen professional competencies but also promote mediation as a powerful tool for modern communication.

The training was conducted by the Ukrainian Mediation Academy in cooperation with UKRNOIVI, as part of the “CONSENT” Project, implemented with the financial support of the European Union.
