Student Workshop “DISC – A Compass for Communication” within the Conference “Mediation & Universities 2.0”

Within the framework of the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Mediation & Universities 2.0”, a student workshop titled “DISC – A Compass for Communication” will take place, focusing on the development of effective communication skills.

During the workshop, participants will:

  • identify their own communication style and practice it through interactive exercises;
  • explore why the same words can be perceived differently by different people;
  • become familiar with the DISC system, a practical and accessible tool for better understanding oneself and others;
  • receive practical tips for effective communication in education, professional life, volunteering, and mediation.

The workshop will be facilitated by Anna Lohaziak, Managing Partner of the law firm AO “LI Partners”, Head of the Lviv Mediation Center, lawyer and mediator, Honorary Member of the National Association of Mediators of Ukraine, member of the Ukrainian Bar Association, and certified ITCILO mediation trainer.

The conference is organized with the financial support of the European Union within the frameworks of the Pravo-Justice Project, the CONSENT Project, and the project “Enhancing Ukraine’s EU Accession Process in the Area of the Rule of Law (3E4U)”, implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German Federal Foreign Office.
