The Ukrainian Academy of Mediation offers war veterans the opportunity to complete the Basic Mediator Training Course (96 hours) free of charge, gaining practical skills for working in the field of conflict resolution.
The “MEDIATION: THE POWER OF CHANGE” program was created to support veterans in finding new professional opportunities and to help them adapt to life after military service.

Graduates of the Program are regularly offered opportunities for further professional growth.
One such initiative was the “Enhancing Skills” training program, focused on developing skills in presenting mediation, effective communication, and promoting a culture of dialogue among veterans and military personnel.
These activities help participants not only strengthen their professional competencies but also maintain and grow the community of veteran mediators.

VETERAN MEDIATORS ON THE MEDIATION HELP PLATFORM
Mediation-Help is an online platform created by the Ukrainian Academy of Mediation to make finding professionals in the field of mediation simple, convenient, and accessible. The platform allows users to find a mediator, lawyer, notary, or interpreter, review their professional profiles, and choose a specialist that best meets their needs.
The platform also offers a dedicated option for searching for mediators who are war veterans.
We understand that for many service members and veterans, shared life experience creates an additional level of trust, safety, and mutual understanding. That is why the opportunity to work with a professional who has also served in the military can be an important factor in building an effective dialogue.
