The Ukrainian Academy of Mediation Launches Partnership with the Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC)

The Ukrainian Academy of Mediation has officially begun a partnership with the Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC) — a leading institution in the field of commercial arbitration and alternative dispute resolution. A formal partnership agreement has been signed, opening new opportunities for the development of mediation in Ukraine.

VIAC – A Leader in International Commercial Arbitration

For over 50 years, VIAC has operated as a division of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKÖ) and is a recognized hub for resolving business disputes. The organization places particular emphasis on the advancement of alternative dispute resolution methods, including mediation.

Mediation Development – A Key Focus for VIAC

VIAC has established its own set of mediation rules and maintains a roster of qualified mediators. One of its key initiatives is the annual international VIAC CDRC Mediation & Negotiation Competition, held in Vienna with the support of VIAC.

Partnership for Progress
