UAM Trainers and Coaches Gain International Experience in Labour Mediation

Last week marked the completion of the practical stage of the certification course on labour mediation held at the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ITCILO).

This course became an important milestone for the trainers and coaches of the Ukrainian Academy of Mediation (UAM) in gaining international experience, exchanging practices, and developing professional capacity in the field of labour dispute resolution. During the training, participants worked on real-life cases, discussed complex situations in labour relations, and received feedback from international experts — mediators and facilitators.

A special value of the course was the atmosphere of openness and mutual respect created by the organizers together with the participants. For the UAM team, participation in this course is not only about acquiring new knowledge and skills, but also about contributing to the development of a culture of dialogue and understanding in labour relations, which is particularly important in the context of the country’s recovery and the building of resilient socio-labour institutions.
