Unlikely Partnership: Mediation in Literature

Can literature help foster a culture of dialogue, mutual understanding, and peaceful conflict resolution? What role do writers, books, and reading play in developing empathy, communication skills, and the ability to see different perspectives?

During the focus dialogue "Unlikely Partnership: Mediation in Literature", participants will explore how stories, characters, and literary narratives can influence the culture of interaction in society, contribute to the development of dialogue skills, and help people make sense of complex life situations. Special attention will be given to the potential of literature as a tool for promoting understanding and constructive conflict resolution.
