Master of Communication

Master of Communication": how the game changes children's lives

In early December, Vinnytsia hosted a warm and inspiring meeting of the facilitators of the game "Master of Communication."

The event took place in an atmosphere of trust and open experience sharing, where participants discussed their successes, challenges, and discoveries while working with children.

Key Insights Discussed During the Meeting:

  • The game helps not only children but also the facilitators themselves better understand child psychology.
  • In some schools, the game has become a part of class hours aimed at improving communication and resolving conflicts.
  • Some children have started using the skills learned in the game even within their families, helping to resolve everyday disputes.

Touching Stories of the Game’s Impact on Children’s Lives:

  • Improved communication: A child who was previously overlooked by classmates found their place within the group.
  • Behavioral transformation: A student with challenging behavior revealed their strengths after just a few games.
  • Uncovering hidden dynamics: The game helped expose the real situation in a class where bullying turned out to be a more serious problem than initially perceived.

"Master of Communication" as a Multifunctional Tool:

The game serves not only as an entertaining activity but also as a diagnostic tool. It helps:

  • Reveal children's actual behavioral strategies.
  • Adjust peer interactions.
  • Build trustful and harmonious relationships.

The game has proven particularly effective in resolving conflicts and combating bullying, making it an invaluable tool for educators, psychologists, and mediators.

Looking Ahead:

Participants discussed ideas for improving the game, adapting it for different age groups, and expanding its reach nationally.

The event was organized by the game’s ambassador, Ruslana Shvets, who, together with the facilitators, created a sincere atmosphere of trust and a pre-New Year spirit.

"Master of Communication" is more than just a game.It is a path to changes that make the world of children open, friendly, and harmonious.

The event was held by the Ukrainian Academy of Mediation as part of the project “CONSENT: Enhancing the Role of Alternative Dispute Resolution in Ukraine with a Focus on Mediation”, supported by the European Union.
