Step into the Role of a Conflict Resolver: Mediation Competition for Law Students

The All-Ukrainian Student Mediation Competition is more than just a contest. It’s a chance to experience how mutual understanding works, how constructive dialogue sounds, and how solutions can be found even when none seem possible.

For students of law-related disciplines, this is a great opportunity to see conflict not as confrontation but as a space for agreement — all within a safe, friendly, and educational format.

What Participation Offers

  • Real-world experience you won’t find in textbooks
  • The ability to listen, truly hear, and negotiate
  • Growth in empathy, dialogue skills, and multi-perspective thinking
  • New connections and a chance to shine

How It Works

Participants: Teams of 2 law students

Stage 1 — Written Round (until May 18): Submit a written analysis of how a conflict could be resolved through mediation.

Stage 2 — Practical Round (May 30–31 in Vinnytsia): Teams participate in simulated mediation scenarios alongside professional mediators. Three competitive rounds, including the final.
