Competition Terms:

  • Participants of the Creative Contest: College, bachelor's, and master's students of any faculty from higher education institutions located in Ukraine or abroad.

  • The contest is held to raise young people's awareness of human rights protection and methods of legal dispute resolution, particularly through mediation.

    The content language is Ukrainian.

  • Participants can submit their works in various digital formats (PNG, JPG, PDF).

  • Participants must submit their works by 6:00 PM (Kyiv time) on March 15, 2024 (inclusive) through the website of the Ukrainian Academy of Mediation. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

  • The number of applications per participant is unlimited. Each type of content must be submitted as a separate application.

  • All materials must be original and created individually by the participant. Plagiarism or copyright infringement will result in disqualification.

  • By submitting an application, participants consent to the free use of their created material, including but not limited to judging, showcasing on social media and other platforms of the Ukrainian Academy of Mediation and the ZLAGODA project, both during and after the contest.

  • The winner and prize recipients (depending on the types of submitted materials) will be determined by March 22, 2024.

    The winner will receive the grand prize – the opportunity to complete the full Basic Mediator Training Course at the Ukrainian Academy of Mediation free of charge.

  • Evaluation criteria for contest entries: creativity, originality, relevance to the contest's purpose, clarity, and accuracy of the message.

This contest is held within the framework of the project "Fostering a Culture of Consensual Conflict Resolution as a Means of Achieving Justice in Ukrainian Society," implemented by the Ukrainian Academy of Mediation with the support of the American people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) as part of the "Justice for All" Program.
